Vietnam a quick update

As this trip has taken a bit longer than we originally anticipated and I have to get back to Australia to pick up my Van we had to pick up the pace.

For this reason I simply didn’t have the time to edit many the photos since we left Cambodia. But I can say this much, there have been a couple of nice ones. Especially the last couple of days have been a real treat in terms of landscapes.

What has happened so far?

Well our route has led us from the difficult border crossing at Ha Tien via Ho Chi Minh city into Da Lat. Here we had a bit of a muddy escapade going north that crippled us a bit. From there we carried on for 2 days along the Mountain roads and later to the Coast where we tried to cheat by using the train to get into Hoi An. This turned out to be a big mistake, however the destination was just beautiful also were the landscapes since.

We are now in Dong Hoi and heading strong towards the north with our final destination Ha Long Bay. From there on we will start driving pretty much straight east: Via Laos back to Chiang Mai. I will post all the details some time later. Promise;)
